Great Uncle Thomas was killed in action at Anzac Cove on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey on 25 April 1915 aged 20 years 9 months. Thomas is about 8 years old in this photo, standing at middle front. He was born in Mersey Tasmania on 25 July 1894 and was known as Tom.
